Vascular Surgeon to join Successful, Growing Employed Practice

  • Vascular surgery group is seeking two vascular surgeons to join their academic, community-based program.
  • This is a very busy practice with a diverse variety of cases, from bread and butter vascular surgery to complex, challenging pathologies.
  • This position is 100% vascular surgery.
  • Their main site is a 1,133 bed, non-profit hospital which serves 9 surrounding counties.
  • They are equipped with 2 hybrid operating rooms: one being the Siemens Pheno ARTIS hybrid suite.
  • The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator able to work in a fast-paced, supportive, team environment.
  • Candidates should be comfortable with a wide breadth of open and Endovascular cases.
  • Vascular surgery also supports this level one trauma center.
  • Call would be no more than 1 in 4.
  • Any interest in building a complex aortic program alongside their award-winning Cardiothoracic surgery department would be encouraged and supported.
  • The hospital has a long-standing relationship with Wright State/Boonshoft School of Medicine. Multiple residency programs, including general surgery, as well as medical students rotate through year around.
    • If there is interest in building an academic career, ample opportunities abound, and academic ranking can be pursued with our medical school affiliate.
    • Scholarly activity is strongly encouraged.
    • They are members of the SVS Vascular Quality Initiative.
