Coastal South Carolina Vascular Surgery Opening

• Medical Center needs 2 Vascular surgeons to continue to build an HVI program.
• Experienced provider needed to build vascular program

Practice Information

• Schedule: 4.5 days – Monday-Thursday 8a-5p, Friday 8a-12p; Dedicated clinic days and dedicated procedure time
• Call: 10 days per month
• Volume: 450 vascular cases referred out of system annually.
• Scope: Bread & butter vascular work, to start, and build to full program; clinic is all vascular – will be own service line housed within the cardiology space
• Procedures: lower extremity, balloon, endovascular, non-healing wounds, limb salvage – insertion aortic stint, carotid artery bypass, arteriogram, atherectomy – Intv card doing coronary work right now and very supportive of vascular build
• Clinic/Facility: 2-room cath lab and 10 OR, 14-bed CMU – cardiology team clinic space is connected to the cath lab. In-house wound care and hyperbaric chambers. Largest dedicated service space in market.
• Imaging/Diagnostics: DSA, 256-slice CT scanner, and MRI with 3T and 1.5T options. Ultrasound machine in-office.
• Support Staff: APP for service line, dedicated RNs (RN’s with vascular exp already on staff), 3 Intv Card, 1 non-invasive advanced imaging, non-interventional doing some devices – Largest PCP in market -potential referrals from Carolina Radiology
