Trauma Surgeon - 10 Days per Month - Join a Great Group of Surgeons

Arkansas hospital seeking a board certified or board eligible surgeon to join their surgery team. The team is powered by two trauma-trained surgeons and five general surgeons.

Position highlights:

  • Full Time - provide 10 days of 24-hour shifts per month covering the emergency department, inpatient consults, inpatient service, and clinic post-operative follow-up appointments
  • Must have extensive experience in trauma resuscitation and emergency general surgery – fellowship not required, but minimum post-training experience of two years is desired
  • Level III Trauma Center
  • da Vinci Robot available
  • 24/7 Emergency Department, 35 rooms, 45,000 annual visits per year
  • 10 OR’s and 2 Cysto rooms
  • Open 19 bed ICU
  • Dedicated bronchoscopy lab with 24/7 coverage
  • GI suite offers 3 dedicated rooms, quick turn-around times, and excellent staff
  • Clinic located on campus
