A multi-specialty physician group, is seeking a Trauma/Acute Care Surgeon to join General Surgeon Group in Northwest Georgia

  • Join 3 Surgeons to complete the 4-person physician team providing dedicated acute care service to Level II Trauma Center
  • Heavy urgent/emergent general surgery as well as trauma coverage.
  • Practice solely as Acute Care Surgeon, without an elective practice.
  • Group provides exclusive on-call coverage of emergent, acute and follow-up care for hospital.
  • Week on/week off rotation with 12-hour shift. Weeks on, Surgeon will round on patients, see new consults and take urgent and emergent cases to the OR. Weeks off, no phone calls, no clinic.
  • PA/NP (4) assistance with running the service as well as nurse liaison
  • The Clinic multispecialty physician group provides a full complement of specialists including full Cardiac/Thoracic support, Pulm/Critical Care, Orthopedic Surgeons, Vascular Surgeons and more.
