- A 465-bed regional referral center in Kentucky, is offering a lucrative opportunity for a well-trained general surgeon.
- They serve an area with a population exceeding 750,000, with patients traveling over 2 hours for care.
- The Health System includes two hospitals. Additionally, their network features 24 family care and multispecialty clinics throughout Ohio and Kentucky, all connected through the EPIC EMR system.
- Their four-physician group performs approximately 1,600 cases monthly at the main hospital.
- They are seeking a surgeon to provide general surgery services, including laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures.
- They have 2 da Vinci XI robotic surgery systems available for use.
- As a bariatric center of excellence, they are not a trauma center, which makes on-call duties more manageable.
- You will work in a Surgery Department that emphasizes quality, efficiency, and customer care.
- Their surgeons collaborate with an outstanding team of anesthesiologists, nurse anesthetists, nurses, and technicians.
- Each surgeon has dedicated advanced practitioners who assist with inpatient rounding, clinic duties, and OR support.
- Call for this position will be 1:5.
- The hospital-employed physician will receive compensation through a combination of a guaranteed salary and WRVUs, with easily attainable quarterly incentive pay.
- Their surgeons are financially well compensated, and a fifth surgeon is definitely warranted.
