General Surgery position in Central Illinois near Champaign-Urbana, IL

• Hospital employed General surgery practice. 174 bed not-for-profit hospital.
• Call shared at 1:3 covering one hospital. 10 days per month.
• Strong referral base from the health systems primary care and specialty care physicians.
• Bread and butter general surgery with opportunity to do endoscopies as well.
• Health system has 15 hospitals total.
• Must be BE/BC – American Board of Surgery
• Robotic and laparoscopic surgery equipment available.
• Visa sponsorship is available. Ideal candidate would be available to start asap.

• Very competitive base salary determined on years of experience and national salary surveys.
• Over $100,000 Student Loan Repayment available
• 208 hours PTO (4 weeks + 6 holidays) and will increase with years of service.
• 480 hours sick time/year.
