Seeking a licensed Psychiatric Medical Doctor for a rewarding contract opportunity to serve the vibrant and diverse community of Akwesasne in northern New York for 40 hours per month. We are trying to determine interest so that we can put together a proposal for this site to provide coverage. Position Details:
- Approximately 40 hours per month for a year or longer- specific schedule to be determined
- Team-based, patient-centered medical home
- Psychiatric services for Tribal members, veterans, and community members across all ages
- Competitive All-Inclusive Rate
- Insurance: Malpractice with Tail covered by agency
- Valid medical degrees, New York State license and DEA, psychiatry certifications, and board certifications, with proof of good standing
- Minimum of 5 years of psychiatric practice, preferably with experience working with Tribal governments or entities
- Compliance with SRMTHS and regulatory standards, including HIPAA
- Medication management and therapy services
- Clinical supervision and verbal therapies
- Case documentation and data collection for billing
- Collaboration with mental health teams
- Participation in quality assurance meetings
