Permanent position - 100% outpatient Psychiatry – 80 minutes from Sacramento, CA

  • FQHC setting – employed positions. 2 openings available.
  • Residency training in Psychiatry needed. Must be BE/BC in in Adult Psychiatry. Open to Child and Adolescent training as well.
  • Position is 100% outpatient clinical psychiatry with no inpatient duties.
  • Average daily volumes are 14 patients per day. Focus is on quality of care and not high volumes. Low patient/provider ratios.
  • Hours are Monday – Friday from 8 am – 5 pm with no call including nights and weekends.
  • Optional 9/80 flex schedule where providers work eight 9-hour days in a row with 9th day being 8 hours and 10th day off. (get a day off every two weeks)
  • Two openings available at different clinic sites. One location is only 20 minutes’ drive from Sacramento, CA so most providers live in Sacramento, CA. 2nd clinic location is 80 miles from Sacramento, CA, 70 miles from Redding, CA and 105 miles to Reno, Nevada. City Population of 100,000. Local 4-year University and 2-year community college. Local regional airport in town or larger international airport in Sacramento, CA 80 miles away.
  • E Clinical Works EMR.
  • Can start working with an out of state license right away but will need to obtain a permanent CA license in one year.
  • CA DEA and CPR card required.
  • Group can sponsor J-1 visa holders and is also H1-B cap-exempt for H1-B sponsorship.

Benefits and salary information:

  • Base salary is $291,000 - $395,000 range. These are negotiated with the clinic directly DOE.
