Join a Hospital employed group adding a PM&R Director and a General PM&R Physician to a 15 bed unit.
Highlights:
- There are 2 physician openings, one of which will be for a Director for rehab unit averaging 15 operational beds (licensed for more).
- Director:
- Maintains knowledge of CMS requirements and changes and ensures compliance
- Responsible for all aspects of care for rehab patients: admission, H&P, IPOC, team conference, 3 weekly face-to-face visits, discharge, and all other requirements for individualized care
- Works closely with admission coordinators to assess and admit appropriate rehab patients who meet reasonable and necessary criteria
- Helps lead future structure and growth of unit
- Works closely with rehab manager, nursing and support staff, and hospitalists
- Option to teach - FM Residency
- Heavy neuro, stroke patient population, minimal TBI or SCI
- Plans to open an outpatient clinic as well
- Hospitalists round on patients daily
