Pediatric Urgent care position (MD/DO) in West Virginia – Block Scheduling can be discussed with possibility for 7 on/7off or similar schedule.
- Hospital employed position on the Ohio/West Virginia border. WV medical license is required.
- This is a brand-new facility for pediatric urgent care. Open 7 days a week, 8am-8pm.
- Shifts rates are $1600 per shift and must work a minimum of 13 shifts a month to he considered full-time. 13 shifts per month is $249,600 annual compensation.
- Schedule is flexible. Currently set up as 12 hours shifts but at some point, could possibly look at flexing the duration of the shift based on staffing and physician preference.
- Physician would be eligible for a productivity bonus.
- Sign on bonus: $50,000
- CME: $5,000 per calendar year
- Comprehensive benefits and insurance package, including paid malpractice and retirement.
- J-1 visa HHS waiver available still for 2023. Hospital covers all immigration fees. H1-B cap-exempt with academic tie to University system and IM residency in town.
- Must be BE/BC – American Board of Pediatrics
- Desired candidate can start in 2023 or early 2024.
- Location: 4th largest city in West Virginia with immediate city population over 30,000. Local shopping, coffee shops, bars/restaurants, and many parks in the area.
- 1 hour and 15 minutes to Charleston, WV, 1 hour and 45 minutes to Columbus, OH, 2.5 hours to Pittsburg, PA and 5 hours to Washington, DC.
