Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center (BMDACC) is actively seeking a full-time Medical Oncologist to join our distinguished Cancer Medicine faculty. This position will support the growth of our multidisciplinary Genitourinary Oncology Program. A strong track record in genitourinary oncology is preferred, and graduating fellows with a demonstrated commitment and solid scholarly record will also be considered.

Professional growth opportunities and leadership positions within the Division of Cancer Medicine, including our quality or clinical research programs, may be available.

The successful candidate will

  • Will be our GU lead and will partner with our 4 urilogists to grow the multidisciplinary program
  • Demonstrate a commitment to our patient-centered multidisciplinary integrated model of cancer care including participation in quality improvement and research programs.
  • Be fellow with a track record in GU or experienced Genitorurinary Medical Oncologist.
  • Fully support the clinical, scholarly, and research missions of our program including developing standard protocols for patient care, improving quality metrics and scholarly/research activities.
  • Display the passion, communication, interpersonal skills and collaboration required to build an active clinical practice and develop areas of productive scholarship.
  • Be recommended for an adjunct academic appointment at UTMDACC, commensurate with clinical and scholarly achievements.
  • Have, or be eligible for, certification in Medical Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
  • Have or be eligible for an unrestricted Florida Medical License & DEA license
  • Join a team of 20 medical oncologists and 4 Urologists.
