Job Opportunity: Full-Time Temp or Temp to Perm Neurologist

Role Overview:
Full-Time Board-certified Locum (or Locum to Perm) Neurologist to provide general neurology care for patients ages 16 and up 3-4.5 days per week. Would consider 3 weeks for the right candidate.

Schedule:

• 3-4 days a week in one location, 1-2 day per week in another site 1 hour away
• M-F, 8-5 (one hour scheduled lunch 12-1)
• No call

Required:

• +3 years of experience
• Skills to perform (without a technician) and interpret EMG's.

• Skills to interpret EEGs
• Ability to obtain NH perm license quickly (physician must be willing and engaged in completing application, fingerprints, etc ASAP)
• Full payer enrollment required
• Ability to partners with other members of neurology team (e.g., radiologist, EEG technologists, MA’s and RN’s, physical therapists).

Most commonly diagnoses encountered are:

• Migraine
• Memory loss
• Essential tremor
• Parkinson’s disease
• Cognitive impairment
• Dizziness
• Epilepsy
• Multiple sclerosis
• Polyneuropathy
• Headache

Practice & EMR Details:

• EMR System: Meditech Expanse
• Appointment Durations: Initial new patient appointments are 40-60 minutes, transitioning to 20 minutes for established patients and 60 minutes for new patients after orientation.
• Daily Patient Flow: Typically, 12-16 patients per day, with 2-4 new patients daily.
• Care Locations: Rotating within the system’s main and outreach clinics as determined by operational needs.
