Join an established group of 4 Nephrologists and 2 APP's in an Inpatient position.

• 100 % Nephrology practice
• 26 weeks of Nephrology coverage / year
• Consult service; patient admissions are through the hospitalist and surgical teams
• Typically 2-5 n e w consults / day with an average of 12-17 total patient touches / day
• Provide CRRT support to critically ill patients
• Peritoneal dialysis & hemodialysis to inpatients
• Can perform kidney biopsies if desired; Interventional Radiology available
• No outpatient dialysis patients
• Dialysis units are owned and operated by the Hospital
• Support from all med and surgical subspecialties
• Potential for faculty appointment with Columbia
• Daily interaction with med students as well as Internal Med and Transitional residents.
