Medical Director of Women’s Health, OBGYN MD/DO

UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC seeks an OBGYN Physician to serve as the Medical Director of Women’s Health. Showing our commitment to patient and family-focused care for women and newborns the health system has invested over $35 million in construction and renovations to support relocating hospital obstetrical, gynecological, and neonatal services into a state-of-the-art women’s center, as well as to consolidate its women’s health clinics into one location. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

· Deliver exceptional patient care and clinical expertise in obstetrics and gynecology.

· Call 1:5 or better, with midwives first on-call for deliveries.

· Serve as a leader and mentor to a team of healthcare professionals.

· Collaborate with physician network, hospital, and community health leaders on the delivery of high-quality care.

· Seamless EPIC EMR Integration across hospital and ambulatory settings.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current unrestricted NC Medical License
• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology

• Experience in clinical practice required

• Clinical and healthcare management experience strongly preferred

• Must meet criteria for medical staff credentials at UNC Health Southeastern
