Nocturnist - Southeastern Alabama – 7 on/7off

  • Employed Hospitalist group seeks BC/BE Internal Medicine physicians to join a robust, rapidly growing inpatient practice with over 25 full-time hospitalists.
  • Competitive salary offered – to be discussed with employer directly.
  • 12-hour shifts (7 pm to 7 am) - no call required
  • Flexible, individualized scheduling
  • Average schedule is 16 shifts per month.
  • 24/7 Pulmonary/Critical Care support for all Critical Care admissions, as well as subspecialty support for all specialties, including in-house radiology 24/7.
  • 420-bed, Level II Trauma Center
  • 12 physicians work the day shift (7 am to 7 pm) and 2 physicians will each have an IM resident to provide care during the 7 pm to 7 am shift.
  • Opportunity to teach IM residents and precept 3rd and 4th year medical students.
  • Procedures are not required.
