UNC Physician’s Network is seeking a full time Board Certified/Eligible Infectious Disease Physician (MD/DO) to provide virtual teleacute services to a variety of patients at multiple UNC Health community hospital facilities. This role will provide both synchronous and asynchronous consults to patients.

About This Position:

• Remote position, offering the opportunity for work/life balance with no commute.
•Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
•Virtual consultations of hospitalized patients, consisting of adults 18 and older.
•High-quality care to adult (18+ years old) hospital patients who need medical services.
•Candidate must be physically located in North Carolina.
•Competitive compensation and benefits.
•No call.
•EPIC electronic medical record platform utilized.

Ideal Candidate:

•2+ years of experience is preferred.
•Board Certified/Eligible in Infectious Disease.
•Telemedicine experience is a plus, but not required.
•Open-minded and flexible with change.
•Dedicated to developing new and exciting ways to deliver care.
