Hematologist/Oncologist

Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville, Florida is actively seeking an experienced Hematologist/Oncologist to join our growing faculty in Cancer Medicine. This physician will expand the delivery of cutting edge therapies for patients with hematological malignancies and help develop our Cellular Therapy Program.

Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center recently opened a 330,000 square foot patient-centered, state-of-the-art facility dedicated solely to the full spectrum of oncology care.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be board-certified in Hematology or Hematology/Oncology with a record of clinical and academic achievement.
  • Have a minimum of three years of experience in malignant hematology.
    • Experience in cellular therapy /CAR-T is desired.
    • Clinical research experience and prior educational activities is desired.
  • Demonstrated commitment to multidisciplinary cancer care.
  • Fully support the clinical, research and educational missions of our program.
  • Establish and maintain an active clinical practice.

Qualified candidates will be recommended for an adjunct academic appointment at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston commensurate with their accomplishments.

Graduating fellows may be considered if they have demonstrated a serious commitment and training track record in managing complex hematology patients.

Qualified candidates will be considered for leadership opportunities within the hematology program and Cancer Medicine (including roles in programmatic development, research and quality).
