Hematology Oncology opening in central New York Lakeside Village
• A progressive, academic health system in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a Hematologist-Medical Oncologist
• Their Cancer Program has been continuously accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Center since 1947.
• The program is also a member of the ECOG-ACRIN with close to 30 years of participation in NCI and sponsored clinical trials.
• The program has a collaborative and multidisciplinary model, which includes onsite Radiation Oncologists, Surgical Oncologists, Pathologists and Radiologists.
• The program has a comprehensive support team that includes Nurse Navigators, Social Workers, Financial Counselors, a Nutritionist and Palliative Care Practitioners.
Job Description & Responsibilities
• Join an established group of Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians
• The Medical Group is multispecialty with over 400 practitioners
• Employed model with competitive salary and incentive plan
• Shared call (approximately 1:8 when fully staffed)
• Outpatient, Inpatient and Regional Patient Care
• 4 day work week – 36 hours clinically & 4 hours administrative
• Group Employed Model
