Program Director for new Family Medicine residency – permanent position near Palm Springs, CA
- Federally qualified community health center (FQHC)
- Family medicine training required. BC/BE. CA medical license required.
- Group is very negotiable on the salary, sign-on bonus, and relocation bonus. Salary ranges from $270,000 - $367,000.
- Position is expected to be 80% administration and 20% clinical
- 5 years of clinical Family medicine experience is desired with minimum of 3 years in an academic role or leadership position
- Clinic is located 35 minutes from Palm Springs, CA. 2 hours to Los Angeles and 2.5 hours to San Diego, CA.
- Brand New Family Medicine residency will officially open in July of 2026
- Group is hoping to have a candidate signed by April of 2025. Program director will help develop curriculum and systems for graduate medical education, recruitment, partnership building, etc.
- First class of FM residents will start in July of 2026

Other duties:
- Program development: Create the program, including setting goals and objectives. Provide leadership, vision, and strategic direction for the Family Medicine Residency Program.
- Ensure compliance with ACGME and institutional accreditation standards and requirements.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that supports resident education and aligns with best practices in family medicine.
- Recruit, develop, and mentor faculty members, ensuring a high standard of education and mentorship.
- Oversee the resident selection process, ensuring adherence to National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) guidelines.
- Monitor resident performance, provide regular evaluations, and implement performance improvement plans as needed.
