If you love providing excellent primary care to people, you'll love this job. You get to be part of a thriving, growing team and have a say in how the clinic is run. And you get to play where you work, because you'll have three days off per week to enjoy the beautiful area where you live. We have...
* No OB deliveries in our hospital.
* No call required for a PCP.
* Extremely high quality measures focused on preventive care.
* Integrated behavioral health providers in our clinics.
* Rural Health Clinic designation at our Critical Access Hospital.

Clark Fork Flyfishing

Job Responsibilities

* Provide primary care to patients assigned to you through patient choice and our value-based payer contracts. Our goal is to see at least 14 patients per day and we work four 9-hour days per week.
* Document information in EPIC in an appropriate, timely manner.
* Participate in provider committees, training, etc.
* Help provide backup care when ER gets very busy.

Qualifications

* BC/BE physician.
* Sorry, we do not help with work visas here.
* Prefer someone with some primary care experience in past jobs, but will consider new physicians.
* Able to be granted privileges at our facility.
* Although there is no formal call, we do ask all our providers to live near the hospital and/or clinics.

Working Hours

Our providers work four 9-hour shifts each week. Days off rotate amongst the team so that one of our providers is always present five days a week. In Plains we have a walk-in clinic (urgent care) as part of our clinic. Occasionally we share coverage of that service and rotate Saturday coverage assignments.

Skills

Standard practice as a primary care, family practice physician.
Prior experience with documenting on an EMR is required, and use of EPIC is preferred.
It is helpful here to understand our designation as a Rural Health Clinic and how we are compensated.
We also prefer physicians who understand value-based care contracts and have successfully worked in some in the past. However, we can train on this.
