Description
UNC Health Family Medicine at Fairmont seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, joining an APP. UNC Family Medicine at Fairmont provides preventative and sick care, physicals, immunizations, nutrition counseling and screening tests for people 18 years and older.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education Requirements: Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
Licensure/Certification Requirements: Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina or eligible. Board certification if required by the Department.
Professional Experience Requirements: Family Practice APP experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements: Demonstrated clinical competency. Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills. Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting. Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.

Located in Robeson County, Fairmont North Carolina is ideally located near I-95 just 15 minutes south of Lumberton and 15 minutes north of the South Carolina border. Lumberton is one-and-a-half hours from Raleigh and two-and-a-half hours from Charlotte. Popular beach cities, such as Myrtle Beach, are an hour away! The city is full of history, culture and fun.
