Arc Health is actively sourcing for Primary Care Physicians to join a partnered IHS facility in Santa Fe, New Mexico.


The Primary Care Physicians will be responsible for:


Clinical Services:
Conducting medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnosing conditions across all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric patients.

Patient Referrals: Independently contacting medical and surgical consultants to discuss patient care, making appropriate referrals after consultation, and arranging for patient transfers to suitable health facilities.

Collaboration: Coordinating referrals to outside specialists and hospitals through the Purchase Referred Care (PRC) office, ensuring patient eligibility and appointment setup.

Clinical Data Management: Interpreting clinical data, formulating therapeutic programs, and providing support to patients and families during illness. Accurate record-keeping and timely updates to Electronic Health Records (EHR) are essential.

Medication Management: Prescribing medications and coordinating treatment plans with nursing and pharmacy staff.

Counseling: Providing ongoing individual counseling for social and emotional issues, with referrals to mental health professionals as needed.


Work Shift
Shifts will be within operating hours (8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday through Saturday), including evenings, weekends, and federal holidays.
**Satellite Clinics (Cochiti, San Felipe, and Santa Clara): Shifts will be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.


Requirements:
  • Board certified or Eligible in Family Medicine (MD/DO)
  • Completed residency training
  • Valid state license and DEA
  • Active ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
  • Valid state driver’s license
  • Ability to meet health requirements and pass background checks
  • Clean NPDP report
