Arc Health is on the lookout for a compassionate and dedicated Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Boarded Physician to provide essential outpatient primary care services at our tribal partner outpatient facility. Position Highlights:

  • Locums Opportunity: Immediate availability upon credentialing, assignment length 3-6 months. We are seeking a clinician who is board certified, culturally humble, and deeply committed to enhancing the quality of care for American Indian communities.
  • Commitment: We are looking for someone who is adaptable and ready to meet the unique needs of this hospital, with a commitment to a minimum 12-week assignment.
Location & Population:

This exceptional opportunity is nestled within the Great Plains Indian Health Service area, within a 35-bed comprehensive medical/surgical facility. Serving as the primary source of healthcare for the Rosebud Sioux (Sicangu Oyate) tribal members in and around the Rosebud Sioux reservation, this hospital's mission is to elevate the physical, mental, social, and spiritual health of American Indians and Alaska Natives to the highest level.

Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses in hospital and clinic setting
Perform comprehensive physical examinations for adults and children
Participate in quality improvement/patient safety projects
Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care

Qualifications

Qualifications
Dedicated to rural, Tribal, and underserved healthcare, embodying the spirit of compassionate, mission-driven social medicine practitioners.
Active board certification
Are comfortable working with limited resources and support staff, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
ACLS, BLS, PALS
Active, unrestricted license and DEA from any state or US territory
Not had a lapse in practice > 6 months leading up to assignment

Working Hours

Monday - Friday; 8am - 5pm
