Lead Our Heart Failure Program in Jacksonville, FL

Baptist Heart Specialists, a leader in cardiovascular care, is seeking a Medical Director to lead and grow our distinguished Heart Failure program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build & grow our Heart Failure program.
  • Oversee outpatient clinics & develop specialized inpatient & outpatient programs.
  • Collaborate with a renowned team of cardiologists.
  • Leverage advanced technology & state-of-the-art facilities.
  • Leadership & Management Skills: Lead and mentor a team of healthcare professionals. Develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Clinical Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in advanced heart failure management, including myocardial biopsy, right heart catheterization, mitral clips, and TAVR procedures.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and colleagues. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists.
  • Program Development: Create and implement new programs and initiatives within the Heart Failure program.
  • Quality Improvement: Drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Research & Education: Participate in research and educational activities to advance the field of cardiology.
Qualifications:
  • Board-certified in Cardiology
  • Clinical Skills: Expertise in myocardial biopsy, right heart catheterization, mitral clips, and TAVR procedures
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage teams
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative Skills: Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team
