Large teaching hospital in the Bronx that focuses on ongoing education for their staff, lecture series offered each month
Department consists of 2 Vascular Surgeons and 1 Surgical PA
Work as a 1st assist, round on Surgery floor and do pre/post Op
Work 3 days a week doing 13.3 hour shifts
Organization has medical students but no general surgery residents, so PAs have opportunity to first assist when on OR rotation
