Physician Assistant - Orthopedics (Hospital based or ASC) Four, 10-hr Days - Poughkeepsie, New York

Health Care System seeks to add another full-time Physician Assistant to their orthopedic team. This position is focused in the hospital or ASC.

• The Physician Assistant will provide first assist (general, total joints, extremities and fractures), call schedule is 1/9 weekends, ED Consults (fracture care), rounding and inpatient management.
• The schedule is four ten-hour day shifts per week.
• Successful Physician Assistant should be PANCE-Certified.
• Ideal candidate should have some surgical experience (in any area).
• The location is in beautiful Hudson Valley near Poughkeepsie, NY.
• The area provides lots of universities, affordable living, great schools, skiing, many lakes, hiking and a lot of great outdoors.
• Compensation: depends on experience level and includes incentive bonus.
