Physician Assistant (Ortho) – Sports Medicine – CLINIC & OR – BONUS - WILL TRAIN A NEW GRAD! – Macon, Georgia

Health Care System seeks a full-time Physician Assistant to directly work with a Sports Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon. Cases includes: total joints, knees, shoulders and fracture care. The opportunity will be a combination of clinic and OR! The group has their own ASC, Digital X-ray and PT Centers. The location is within the Macon, Georgia area.

Responsibilities include:
- First assist
- Initial evaluations
- Joint aspiration and injections
- Pre-op and post-op H&P’s
- Write scripts
- Coordinate with Physical Therapist
- Ordering tests and evaluate X-ray, CT Scan and MRI
- Rounding and Fracture Care
- Run clinics
- Sporting event coverage

This sports doctor will train a new graduate with an orthopedic rotation. Compensation: Competitive salary (bonus plan) and full benefits package. Relocation assistance is available.
