Well-established Orthopedic Group seeks to add a full-time Orthopedic Physician Assistant to their team. The position will be up to 85% in the clinic and the balance in the OR. The Physician Assistant will support two general Orthopedic Surgeons. The Physician Assistant will run their own orthopedic clinic. Cases include knee and shoulders scopes, total joints, general as well as some trauma. Responsibilities include providing first assist, running a clinic, reductions, patient evaluation and education, pre- and post-H&P’s, injections (small joints and bursa), consultation, and reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. Successful Physician Assistants must be NCCPA-Certified and have a strong interest in orthopedics.
