Orthopedic Surgeon with a Trauma Fellowship seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant. The new Physician Assistant will work directly with this trauma team and handle a variety of complex trauma cases. The position includes ED consults, first assist (OR), rounds, inpatient management and clinic. The group has their own Physical Therapy, Digital X-Ray and MRI. This position is a four-day work week (days).

Responsibilities include: H&P’s, patient evaluation and education, refer for diagnostic treatment, ED orthopedic consults, first assist, review lab results, write scripts, injections and aspirations, treat fractures (reductions), casting and splinting.

Successful candidates should be NCCPA-Certified and able to work well in a fast-paced trauma environment. The trauma doctor will train a new graduate with a strong interest in orthopedic trauma. The location is in a beautiful area in an upscale suburb of Phoenix.

Compensation: Open (competitive and production plan). Excellent benefits package including sign-on.
