Job Description
Health Care System seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant. The Physician Assistant will be working in an Orthopedic Urgent Care Clinic that will handle only musculoskeletal injuries. The newly hired Physician Assistant will diagnose and treat common musculoskeletal problems. This position is clinic based. Common injuries include: sprain, strains, fractures, wound care and post-op problems. Responsibilities include: H&P’s, injury evaluation, fracture reduction, aspirations, injections and providing patient education. Successful candidates should be Board-Certified. The doctor will train a recent graduate. The position is 40 hours per week (four ten-hour shifts). There is no call, but some weekend rotations. The location is in a desirable area of Rockford, Illinois.
Compensation: Base salary range is open (depends on experience). Additionally, there is a full benefits package provided which includes medical, dental, three weeks of vacation, one-week CME and allowance and 401k profit sharing plan. Relocation assistance is available.
