Upper Extremity Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon seeks to add a full-time orthopedic Physician Assistant to the team. This position includes both the clinic and some OR. This is a well-established and busy practice. This doctor has a focus on hand, wrist, elbow and some general cases. The Physician Assistant will run an orthopedic clinic parallel to the physician. The group has a state-of-the-art facility which includes PT/OT, EMR and newer OR suites.
Responsibilities include:

Run orthopedic clinic

Joint aspiration and injections

Pre-op and post-op H&P’s

Hospital rounding

Write scripts

Coordinate with Physical Therapist

Ordering tests and evaluate X-ray, CT scan and MRI

Casting and splinting
The location is within 60 minutes to Corvallis, Oregon. This doctor will train a recent graduate with an orthopedic rotation. Compensation: excellent. Additionally, there is an excellent benefits package.
