Health Care System seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant to work directly with a very busy Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon. This position will include both the clinic and the OR. Surgical cases include total joints, arthroscopy of the shoulder and knees as well as fracture care. Responsibilities include: first assist, H&P’s, write scripts, coordinate with PT/OT, consultation, rounding and discharge summaries.

Successful Physician Assistants should be NCCPA-Certified/Eligible. The doctor will train a recent graduate with an orthopedic rotation. The location is within the Rockford, Illinois area. Competitive compensation and a full benefits package provided.
