We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join the behavioral health team to provide patient assessment and diagnosis, formulate treatment plans, prescribe medications, order laboratory tests, interpret test results, provide patient education, and prepare medical records.

  • Monday - Friday, no call
  • 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday
  • 50 patients per week
  • Cerner EHR

Qualifications

  • Licensure: Full, unrestricted Alaska professional license preferred but can accept any license to start but must apply.
  • Education: Masters of Science in Nursing with a Psychiatric/Mental Health emphasis from an accredited U.S. college or university.
  • Experience/Training: Minimum of three (3 ) years as a PMHNP
  • Certifications: BLS and ACLS
  • Commitment: Must be able to commit to 120 day assignment or temp to perm
