Nurse Practitioner – PM&R – NO EVENINGS, WEEKENDS OR CALL – Will train a new grad! – Meriden, Connecticut

Physical Medicine and Rehab Group seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. The group has a state-of-the-art Physical Therapy Center and a modern medical complex. The hours are Monday through Friday (7:30 am to 4:30 pm) with no weekends, evenings and no call. This group is a high-volume practice that handles muscular skeletal injuries (spine and extremities).

Responsibilities include:
- Office/clinic – new patient evaluations and follow-up
- No call
- Injections (trigger point and cortisone)
- Post-operative H&P’s
- Writing scripts
- Patient education
- Evaluate X-ray, CT and MRI
- Work week is 40 hours

Successful Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner should be Board-Certified, self-starter and have very strong interpersonal skills. The doctor is open to training the right candidate. Compensation: Salary depends on experience. Additionally, there is a full benefits package provided which includes medical, dental, profit-sharing plan, five weeks of vacation, one week CME and a flexible benefit package.
