Position Overview: Pinon Health Center, associated with Chinle Service Unit - Indian Health Service, seeks a compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our collegial team in providing comprehensive care to our diverse patient population. About the Facility and Area: Pinon Health Center, nestled in the heart of the Navajo Reservation in Northern Arizona, is an outpatient clinic offering a wide range of services. Our facility features 15 exam rooms, optometry and dental services, a large pharmacy, and more. We serve approximately 11,000 patients, many of whom are traditional Navajo speakers, allowing you to immerse yourself in the rich Navajo culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses
  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations for adults and children
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety projects
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals

Required Procedures:

  • Clinic Services: Lab, X-Ray, Suturing, Ultrasound, Pharmacy, EKG, Emergency Room, Minor Surgery, Pediatric Care
  • Specialty Services: Behavioral Health, Dental, Pediatrics, Emergency, Optometry, OBGYN, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Endocrinology, Podiatry, Pathology, Physical Therapy, and more
