Nurse Practitioner - Orthopedic Clinic (WILL TRAIN) - Eugene, Oregon

Upper Extremity Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon seeks to add a full-time orthopedic Nurse Practitioner to the team.

• This position will be focused in the clinic.
• This is a well-established and busy practice.
• This doctor has a focus on upper extremities and some general cases.
• The Nurse Practitioner will run an orthopedic clinic parallel to the physician.
• The group has a state-of-the-art facility which includes PT/OT, EMR and newer OR suites.

Responsibilities include:

• Run orthopedic clinic
• Joint aspiration and injections
• Pre-op and post-op H&P’s
• Hospital rounding
• Write scripts
• Coordinate with Physical Therapist
• Ordering tests and evaluate X-ray, CT scan and MRI
• Casting and splinting

The location is Eugene, Oregon. This doctor will train a recent graduate with a strong interest in orthopedics. Compensation: excellent. Additionally, there is an excellent benefits package.
