See primary care patients, ages 0-100, medical directors do approx. 80% clinical and 20% administrative responsibilities. Generally 1 day for admin 4 days of patient care (some telehealth)
Oversee clinical examinations of providers who provide care to patients at the site
Reviews all problem cases to determine best course of treatment
Communication with HR and Chief Medical Officer, Director of Primary Care on any important staff-related or patient-related issues
Meet with leadership to evaluate efficiency, productivity and performance of staff
Participate in monthly provider conferences
Oversee NPs as well as precept in the NP training program
