Primary Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations for adults
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety projects
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care

Required Procedures:

• Deliveries (low-risk)
• Lab services
• Prenatal/Postnatal care
• X-Ray interpretation
• Suturing
• Ultrasound
• Cesarean Sections
• Pharmacy services
• Management of undisplaced fractures
• EKG interpretation
• Gynecology
• Minor surgery
• Major surgery
• Local block/IV
• Epidural or general anesthesia
• Emergency Room services

Patient Demographics:

• Pediatric

• Majority AI/AN

Support Staff:

• Receptionist
• Nursing
• Medical Assistant

Work Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm

• On-site: Behavioral Health, Dental, Pediatrics
• Referred: Rheumatology, OBGYN, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Endocrinology, Podiatry, Pathology, Urology, and more.

Job Requirements:

• Committed to rural and underserved healthcare
• Compassionate, mission-driven social medicine practitioner
• Board-certified (or Board-eligible if just completed residency)
• Licensed in the state of Oregon, or willing to apply

Compensation and Benefits:

• $90/hr
• Malpractice coverage, including tail insurance
• Local housing and travel (including car rental) fully covered in most cases
