Position Title: Family Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (APP)

Located in the heart of the Grand Ronde Community, this health center is committed to providing top-notch medical services to the local Tribal members. The area is steeped in rich history and offers abundant outdoor recreational activities, making it an ideal place for those who appreciate nature and a close-knit community. Nearby referral hospitals include Willamette Valley Hospital (25 miles away) and Salem Health (35 miles away), with additional referrals to OHSU and Providence in Portland, OR.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations for adults
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety projects
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
Required Procedures:
- Deliveries (low-risk)
- Lab services
- Prenatal/Postnatal care
- X-Ray interpretation
- Suturing
- Ultrasound
- Cesarean Sections
- Pharmacy services
- Management of undisplaced fractures
- EKG interpretation
- Gynecology
- Minor surgery
- Major surgery
- Local block/IV
- Epidural or general anesthesia
- Emergency Room services
Patient Demographics:
- Pediatric

Support Staff:
- Receptionist

Work Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm

- Referred: Rheumatology, OBGYN, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Endocrinology, Podiatry, Pathology, Urology, and more.
Job Requirements:
- Committed to rural and underserved healthcare
- Compassionate, mission-driven social medicine practitioner
- Board-certified (or Board-eligible if just completed residency)
- Licensed in the state of Oregon, or willing to apply
Compensation and Benefits:
- $90/hr
- Malpractice coverage, including tail insurance
- Local housing and travel (including car rental) fully covered in most cases
