About Us: Pinon Health Center, affiliated with Chinle Service Unit - Indian Health Service, is nestled in the heart of the Navajo Reservation in Northern Arizona. Our outpatient clinic serves approximately 11,000 patients, predominantly Navajo, with a focus on providing comprehensive healthcare services. Our facility features 15 exam rooms, 4 optometry exam rooms, 14 dental bays, and more, offering a wide range of medical services to our community.

Position Overview:

• Title: Nurse Practitioner
• Location: Pinon, AZ
• Patient Demographics: 11,000 patients from the surrounding area, predominantly Navajo
• Daily Patient Load: 14-16/day outpatient
• EHR System: Resource & Patient Management System (RPMS)

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses in both hospital and clinic settings.
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations for adults and children.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety projects.
• Collaborate with physicians and specialists for patient care.

• Cesarean Sections
• EKG
• Gynecology
• Emergency Room services
• Minor Surgery
• Pediatric care
• Major Surgery
• Local Block/IV
• Adult/Geriatric care
• Epidural or General Anesthesia

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. No on-call or weekend shifts. Telemedicine opportunities available.
