About the Role:


We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) or OB Provider to join our Women’s Health Services team at NCSU in Lame Deer, Montana. This role is vital in providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to our community, focusing on improving women’s health outcomes and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.


Job Description:


Provide full-scope midwifery and obstetric care, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care.

Conduct gynecological exams, family planning services, and health education.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.

Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.

Participate in community health education and outreach programs.


Job Responsibilities:


Perform comprehensive health assessments and develop treatment plans.

Provide diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic health conditions specific to women’s health.

Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide continuous care.

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.


Job Requirements:


Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) or OB Provider with a valid and unrestricted license to practice in any state.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in women’s health services.

Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with medical advancements.


Hours and Call:


Working Hours: Clinics once a week, scheduled from 9:00 to 15:30, with providers and support staff reporting from 8:00 to 17:00. Flexibility in scheduling with standard hours typically Monday through Friday.

On-Call Duties: There may be some on-call responsibilities; details will be discussed during the interview process.

Additional Information (Based on RFP Deliverables):


Clinics: Provide clinics once a week for a total of 52 on-site clinics per year. Clinics will be scheduled from 9:00 to 15:30, with providers and support staff reporting from 8:00 to 17:00 on clinic days.

Staffing: At least one (1) provider (Certified Nurse-Midwife, mid-level provider, or OB provider) and one (1) support staff are required for each weekly clinic. If patient volume necessitates, staffing may increase to two (2) providers and two (2) support staff per clinic. The NCSU Clinical Director will notify the contractor at least two (2) weeks in advance if additional staffing is needed.
