Omni Wound Physicians | Mobile Wound Care Specialists

Omni Wound Physicians (OWP) specializes in mobile wound care, delivering expert on-site treatment to patients in homes, skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), assisted living facilities (ALFs), long-term care centers, and rehab facilities. Our team of medical doctors (MDs), doctors of osteopathic medicine (DOs), nurse practitioners (NPs), physician assistants (PAs), and other licensed providers plays a critical role in reducing hospital readmissions, lowering healthcare costs, and improving patient outcomes through high-quality, evidence-based wound management.

  • Compensation – Pay structures and benefits may vary by location and role and are subject to change
  • Expanding nationwide – Hiring MDs, DOs, NPs, PAs, and wound care specialists in multiple states
  • Comprehensive support – Training, administrative assistance, and EMR tools provided
  • Professional development – Internal training programs and support for wound care certification
  • Wound Care Certification – Wound care certification is typically offered for MDs, DOs, PAs, and NPs. Non-certified providers are generally expected to obtain certification within six months of employment.
    • For W-2 team members classified as part-time (working at least one or more shifts per week) or full-time, Omni Wound Physicians covers the cost of certification
    • Eligibility for full reimbursement may be subject to meeting employment thresholds, such as a minimum period of continuous service
    • This program is not currently available for employer partial or full reimbursement if the individual is a contractor (1099)
    • Test preparation support is available for all providers
  • Advanced wound management – Treat chronic wounds, pressure ulcers, diabetic wounds, venous ulcers, surgical wounds, burns, and more
  • Multi-specialty collaboration – Work alongside home health agencies, SNFs, ALFs, long-term care providers, and rehab facilities

Required Licensure & Certification
All applicants must have active and valid licensure and certifications at the time of credentialing. These must remain current throughout employment. Failure to maintain required licensure or certification may impact continued employment.

Medical Doctors (MDs) & Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine (DOs)

  • Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
  • DEA registration (if required by the state)
  • Board certification or eligibility in a relevant specialty (preferred)

Nurse Practitioners (NPs)

  • Active, unrestricted RN and NP license in the state of practice
  • National NP certification (ANCC, AANP, or equivalent)
  • DEA registration (if required by the state)

Physician Assistants (PAs)

  • Active, unrestricted PA license in the state of practice
  • NCCPA certification
  • DEA registration (if required by the state)

Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee employment, and offers are contingent on successful credentialing, background checks, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

This is a fully mobile role that requires traveling by vehicle within assigned regional territories. Travel expectations and assigned locations may change based on business needs.
