JOB DESCRIPTION:
Medical center in Georgia seeking a BE/BC Wound Care Medical Director to join the team. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package offered.
About position:
Monday – Friday, 8-5pm
Provide clinical assessment, evaluation and on-site treatment of all wounds (per Clinical Practice Guidelines)
Provide clear and standardized documentation for each patient
Develop personalized action plan for each patient, discuss with Treatment Nurse
Notify facility staff of potential schedule delays, provide as much advance notice as possible
Write individual physician orders, if required by facility
Support Treatment Nurse and appropriate facility staff with education, training and mentorship
