Adelphi is seeking qualified Wound Care Physicians to provide wound care services and treat all spectrums of skin integrity at a facility in Richmond, Texas. The wound care physician will collaborate with primary care providers and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive wound management and optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:
• Must have a full/active MD license.
• Minimum of three years relevant experience.
• An active unrestricted Texas license.
• Board Certified Physician.

Responsibilities:
• Visit facility to see individuals and provide specialized treatment and collaborate with facility's PCPs and nurses for wound care management.
• Manage pressure ulcers, infectious wounds, injury wounds,or any wounds that have failed improvement with primary care management.
• Perform services in a timely manner and as necessary for the health and welfare of patients.
• Assess patients on a weekly basis or as needed.
• Meet the standard required by the facility's Medical Director.
• Deliver high quality wound care services to individuals with intellectual disabilities served by the facility in accordance with current accepted medical practices.
• Be knowledgeable of methods and procedures in general medicine and of the principle of development, implementation, and documentation of individualized care and treatment.
• Be skilled in the care and treatment of patients and in the use of medical diagnostics and wound care services.
• Provide progress notes it documentation of assessment and plan for each patient evaluated for review.
• provide a log sheet each time a service is performed.
