Locum - Urology - MD/DO

Job Opportunity: Board Certified Urologist

Join our dedicated healthcare team in Hancock, Michigan, where we provide top-notch medical services to our community. Our facility is equipped with modern amenities and a Da Vinci Xi Robot, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care. This long-term opportunity offers a 4 clinic day and 1 OR day schedule, all during standard working hours with no on-call requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive urological care in an outpatient and inpatient setting.
• Conduct 4 clinic days and 1 OR day per week, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
• Participate in a 2-week on, 2-week off rotation to accommodate community needs.
• Perform urological procedures effectively, aiming for at least 20 patient encounters per shift.
• Utilize advanced surgical technology, including the Da Vinci Xi Robot.
• Maintain patient records using MediTech / Athena EMR systems.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
• Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency/fellowship, or foreign training in Urology.
• At least 50 urological procedures performed within the past 12 months.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Valid Michigan Medical License.
• Michigan CDS and DEA certifications.
• Required hospital privileges, with temporary privileges available during credentialing.
