Job description
We are looking for a provider to start 07/07/2025 through the end of the Year
Shifts available: 7a-7a (MD/DO Call) (total shifts needed 20)
MD/DO: Either
BC: Urology
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, DEA Certificate, other:
Required Experience in: General urology treatment, diagnosis, and procedures to include: Stone Treatment and removal, Cystoscopy , Biopsy (prostate), TUNA, Robotics
vasectomies, ureteroscopies, transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP))
Unit Details:
Beds per Unit: Urology Medical Office has 4 patient rooms, 2 procedure rooms
Patients per day by Locums: 2-3 per day in inpatient seen
# of procedures per shift (OR): 10-12
# of patient seen per clinic shift: 28-30
Will Locums be sole provider: Yes with mid level support
Is there other support start for Locums: (if so what) APC’s no RN’s
Average calls per night: It depends sometimes none and sometimes 3-5
Will Locums do Admits: Yes
Anything else we need to know about this unit or need for the incoming provider? This is a busy, high-volume practice seeking a skilled and dedicated provider with a passion for urology. We are looking for someone with experience and a commitment to providing ongoing support to our community.
Assignment Details:
Schedule: Clinic (onsite) 2 1/2 days per week with OR/Procedures as scheduled 2 1/2 days per week

Reason for need/urgency: Retirement 6/30/25
Working Multiple locations: No
Monday to Friday with some weekend support starting after 6/30 with ongoing needs into 2025.
Would you accept more than one locums to fill the need: Yes, with continuous care into 2025
Shifts/ Days/Hours weekly: Full time M- Friday with call, weekend call optional but preferred one week per month
Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
In House Call: During shift
Night/weekend Call: Hotel Call- will rarely be called back to the hospital on night/weekend call.
Avg calls her night? 3-5 depends on patient load and acuity
Avg calls her weekend date?: NA
Round Required: Yes
Will Locums do Admits: Yes
