Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Urology

Summary: Join our esteemed healthcare facility located in Bismarck, North Dakota, where we are seeking a dedicated Urologist for ongoing clinic and call coverage. This facility provides comprehensive services and has a supportive team including 2 RNs and 1 LPN on-site. The ideal candidate should be capable of performing prostate biopsies with nursing support, as there is no ultrasound technician available at the site.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical urology services including consultations and follow-ups.
• Perform required procedures including TRUS biopsies of the prostate, cystoscopy, and cystoscopy with dilation.
• Manage emergency surgeries and instances requiring urgent urology interventions.
• Conduct rounding on post-operative patients during the week.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Participate in weekend and night call rotations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Urology preferred; Board Eligible candidates within 5 years of residency will be considered.
• Active North Dakota medical license (IMLC accepted).
• Ability to perform urology-related procedures autonomously.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to providing exemplary patient care.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Valid medical license in the state of North Dakota.
• DEA license required.
• Board certification in Urology is preferred.
