Board Certified Urologist sought for ongoing locums coverage in Southern Colorado

  • Monday-Friday - 8a-4p + 4p-7a (night call) & Saturday-Sunday - 24hr call (7a-7a)
  • Trauma Level III
  • OR time for various procedures
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Support Staff: MA, NP/PA, RN
  • 6-12 patients/day
  • Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
  • Emergency privileges can be granted in 30 days with a clean file.

Dates of Coverage:

  • All shifts end the following day at 7a.
  • Mar 31-Apr 6
  • Apr 21-27
  • Apr 28-May 4
  • June 30-July 6
  • Site will need about 1 week per month ongoing starting July 2025.

Qualifications

-Board Certified Urology - Required, will not accept BE candidates
-Active CO License - Required or IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of submission)
-Active BLS - Required
-Active DEA - Required for credentialing (site will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked.)
-Candidates must detail which of the stints open they are able to cover and must be available for any stint in job description to be considered for ongoing dates - Required
-Must list # of shifts per month ongoing the provider is able to offer to the team - Required
-Must acknowledge candidate understands the EMR training requirements set forth in job description and will complete in this order to avoid missing their start date - Required
-Clean Malpractice/background - Required, willing to accept 1 case up to $300k - Candidates who present with a self inquiry NPDB report at time of presentation will be considered with priority over those that do not.
