Job Description: Urologist Locum Tenens
Location: Silverdale, WA
Duration: 3-4 months
Shift Type: Varied
Est. Shifts/Hours: 5-6 days/month, 24-hour call coverage
Call: 1 in 6, hospital call during clinic hours
Job Responsibilities
• Position: Full-time bread and butter Urologist for clinic and on-call duties.
• Setting: Clinic (8 AM - 4 PM) and On-call (24-hour shifts, 1 in 6).
• Responsibilities:
o General urology care in clinic and hospital.
o Perform routine urological procedures and surgeries (robotic surgery available).
o Provider will be sole practitioner in a busy department.
o Hospitalist team present for admissions.
o Triage and in-basket management for remote work.
o 20-25 patients/day in the clinic; 20-30 surgeries/month.
Qualifications
• Board Certification: Required (Board Eligible considered).
• Licensure: WA State Medical License.
• Malpractice: Clean preferred.
• Certifications: BLS required (DEA, ACLS, ATLS, and other supporting certifications also preferred).
• Experience: Bread and butter urology; ability to handle high-volume patient load and fast-paced setting.
• Work Setting: Clinic and hospital (with rounding).
Working Hours
• ASAP through end of April 2025, excluding weekends.
• Specific required dates include:
o February 2025: 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st.
o March 2025: 3rd-7th, 11th-14th.
o April 2025: 7th-30th (excluding weekends).
