Job Responsibilities
Types of Calls: In House, Telephone, 30-minute response time
Facility Type: Level II Trauma Hospital
Typical Day: Provider will be doing both inpatient and outpatient during the weekday. Inpatient rounding on weekends is likely
How many OR/Surgery Days in Hospital: None at present, elective procedures referred to employed physicians. No scheduled OR days, only emergencies. For inpatient, provider is required to round, consult, and perform necessary procedures
Working Hours
Need someone for 4-8 shifts per month for weekday/night call and weekend coverage
Clinic: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Night Call: 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM
24-Hour Call: 8:00 AM - 8:00 AM
No clinic on weekends. For weekday clinic, hours are 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, but out of the clinic by 5:00 PM
Weekend Call: Typically Friday evening to Monday morning, with occasional weekday clinic coverage
