Schedule & Shifts

• Shift Details:
  • Weekday Clinic: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (no weekend clinic)
  • Night Call: 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM
  • 24-Hour Call: 8:00 AM - 8:00 AM (weekends)
  • Weekend Block: Typically Friday evening to Monday morning
  • Occasional Weekday Clinic Coverage: May be needed
• Estimated Shifts/Month: 8 shifts (including weekend coverage)
• Call: Yes (in-house and telephone with a 30-minute response time)

Job Responsibilities

• Inpatient:
  • Round on patients, perform consultations, and necessary procedures
  • Expected average of 5-15 inpatient patients/day, 5 admissions, and 5-8 consults
• Outpatient:
  • Clinic hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, out by 5:00 PM
  • No scheduled OR days; emergency procedures as needed
• Elective Procedures: Cystoscopy, Vasectomy, Lithotripsy, Stents, Hydroceles
• Provider Will Work Solo: Yes

Requirements

• Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
• Experience: Minimum 5 years
• State License: Active Pennsylvania license required
• Certifications: BLS (ACLS not required for hospital/OR work)
• DEA: Required
• CSR License: Not required

• EMR Systems: Cerner and Epic
• Travel: Mileage, lodging, parking, rental car, and fuel covered;
• Average Admissions/Consults: 5 admissions and 5-8 consults per day while on call
